Accountability & public evidence

Big promises.Meet thepublic record.

A promise is a beginning, not a result. Help us make legislation, public commitments and the evidence behind them easier for everyone to find, understand and follow.

01 / THE IDEA

Make accountability easier to practice.

Imagine a public conversation where a claim comes with a source, a commitment has an owner, and progress can be checked.

THE CONNECTION WE’RE BUILDING

01Public commitments
02Checkable evidence
03Visible outcomes

A useful record names the commitment, the responsible institution, the deadline and the evidence. It also leaves room for a correction. We want to make that habit easier—not turn an allegation into a verdict.

02 / ALREADY IN THE WORLD

Not just a vision.
A place to start.

These public tools and resources are available to explore now. Open them. Check the sources. See what’s useful.

What this work can—and can’t—promise

We do not investigate on behalf of a public agency or determine guilt. No contribution buys a favorable record, suppresses a correction or guarantees an enforcement outcome.

03 / WHAT YOU’RE HELPING BUILD

Give the next
chapter a start.

Support the work that connects possibility to something people can use.

01

Make legislation legible

Source-linked explanations that distinguish a proposal, an amendment, a vote and an enacted law.

02

Follow commitments carefully

Develop practical ways to connect a public promise with an owner, a date and evidence of progress.

03

Make oversight usable

Explain public records, comment processes and accountability tools without pretending we have enforcement powers.

These are planned priorities, not completed results or a restricted allocation. For a larger grant or sponsorship, let’s discuss a written scope.

04 / PEOPLE BEHIND THE POSSIBILITY

Big ideas.
Real people.
Work to do.

Jack Jay and Sydney Thackray are founding members of US House. They’re bringing creators, builders and civic projects together around a shared ambition: make useful work impossible to ignore.

The invitation is bigger than a building. It’s a network of people creating, explaining and connecting the pieces of a better future.

GOOD QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME

Ambition, with
the details clear.

Does a donation buy influence over the record?

No. Financial support must not buy a ranking, an accusation, a favorable conclusion or a hidden correction. Evidence and corrections must stand on their own.

What exactly would support help pay for?

The planned priorities are research and source checks, product maintenance, accessible design, hosting and clear public explanations. This is not a published restricted-fund budget or a promise of a particular result. Ask for a written scope before considering a larger grant or sponsorship.

Who receives the payment?

The payment recipient is Election Powerhouse, Inc., using a dedicated US House support checkout. The verified hosted link accepts one-time support. This is not the separate Election.org support program.

Is support tax-deductible?

No charitable deduction is promised. This is not presented as a tax-exempt charity appeal. US House has committed to a public benefit corporation structure; filing is pending, not complete.

How can I follow or question the work?

Explore the tools and their source notes, send a correction, or ask the team about the next stage. Questions about support, planned work or a larger sponsorship can go directly to jackson@america.co.
